Wednesdays 11 October - 6 December 2023
5.30pm-6.30pm: 10-13 year olds
7.00pm-8.00pm: Adult dance fitness (see below - $60)

NOTE: Our 5-7yrs and 7-9yrs will return for Term 1 2024. Register your interest in the Parent Portal (see bookings page below).
Join us for fun and inclusive weekly after school community dance classes!
Learn a variety of dance genres (such as hip hop, contemporary, jazz and salsa), exploring creating your own movements, and play fun games.
We use dance as a vehicle to foster confidence, team work, and positive life skills.
Finish the term with a fun showing for family and friends.

Learn a range of dances, while gaining leadership & confidence skills through dance.
​
Term 4 leaders will be working towards running a disco!
​
Throughout the year, classes will cover:
A range of dance techniques and routines
Choreographic and creative skills
Other forms of dance knowledge including improvisation, and safe dance practice
How to teach dance routines
How to lead dance warm ups, activities, and games
Teamwork and communication skills
Understandings of community dance
Understandings of dance genre backgrounds
ADULT DANCE FITNESS

Our adults dance fitness class is the perfect combination of exercise, grooving to music and learning dance moves.
Classes will run with approximately 20 minutes dance fitness (think zumba/group exercise classes), 20 minutes learning a dance routine, and 15 minutes conditioning and stretching.

All levels of experience/fitness are welcome - participate at your own pace!
